On Wednesday, October 23, an emergency occurred at the Paphos Technical School. A 16-year-old Greek Cypriot student was seriously injured. While trying to climb over the school fence, he ran into sharp iron spikes.
A rescue team immediately arrived at the scene of the emergency and had to cut the iron fence to free the young man. The victim was then taken to the main hospital of the city, where doctors provided him with first aid and then operated on him.
Currently, the student is in intensive care, but his life is not in danger. Police and school officials are investigating the incident.
