About 22:30 about 50 people in the hoods armed with reinforcement, broke into the premises of the fan club and caused significant damage. As a result of the attack, three people were injured, including the 68-year-old club manager. All three were taken to the hospital, where he was provided with first medical care.
The police representative Kiriaki Lambrianid on the air of state television confirmed that the incidents were recorded before, during and after the match held at the GSP stadium. Two cars were damaged, skirmishes occurred between the fans in the stands, and the riots in the fields for mini-football were recorded after the end of the game.
“The investigation is already being carried out, and it is expected that the arrest orders will be issued during the day,” Lambrianid said. According to her, at the time of the attack inside the club there were six people. Information about two injured men aged about 30 years and a 68-year-old manager was pre-confirmed.
Also, before the match, other incidents were recorded - a woman was arrested, a civilian car was damaged. The police continue to take measures to establish the individuals of the participants in the attack and prevent the possible escalation of violence between fan groups.
