The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, June 10, in Limassol.
The 47-year-old builder Gela Katsidis, a Georgian citizen, died after a fall from a height of 23 meters. According to the police, the man worked on the sixth floor of the building under construction, at some point he lost his balance and broke down.
The ambulance delivered the victim to a private clinic, where death was stated at 12:50. The deceased had a family with four children.
Police officers and representatives of the labor inspection department arrived at the scene. An investigation is underway in order to clarify the exact causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
