At around 6:40 pm on Tuesday 3 September, a 39-year-old man was driving his car along Makarios Avenue in Limassol and hit a 2-year-old girl.
The injured child was initially taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital where it was discovered that she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage and then, after being intubated, she was transferred to Makarios Hospital where she currently remains.
The attending physicians assess the child's health condition as serious. Limassol traffic police continue to investigate the incident.
