In Limassol, two women fell out of the convertible at full speed

On Monday at night, February 3, an incident occurred in Limassol, as a result of which two women, 44 and 45 years old, received serious injuries after falling from a moving car.

According to police, women were in the back seat of the convertible, but at some point during the movement fell on the road. Despite heavy bruises and head injuries, their condition is evaluated as stable, nothing threatens their life.

The incident occurred at 3:40 am, when a 35-year-old driver offered to take four women home after a night's nighter, also known as an IT quarter. Two of them sat in the back seat, putting their feet on their backs. During the turn on Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, they lost their balance and fell out of the car.

The driver disappeared from the scene, but he was soon detained by Limassol by the road police. He was arrested on suspicion of careless driving, transporting passengers in unsafe conditions and leaving the scene of the accident.

The victims were hospitalized in the Limassol hospital.

The police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
