On August 27, three people received serious injuries as a result of the explosion at the scrap metal processing factory in the Aradipp industrial zone. According to the police, one of the victims needs surgery.
The incident occurred at about 10:00, when the 52-year-old Greek Ciprot unloaded metal brought from an abandoned shooting range to Koshi. The explosion occurred during unloading, the driver himself, a foreign employee and another citizen who also delivered scrap metal, was injured.
It is reported that all three were conscious, but received severe abdominal injuries. There was no fire after the explosion.
Police, pyrotechnics of the National Guard and employees of the labor inspectorate work on the spot. The territory of the enterprise remains numb, an investigation is carried out.
