At 15:37 Monday, June 23, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred off the coast of Cyprus. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, its epicenter was in the Mediterranean Sea 57 km southeast of Larnaki, and the hypocenter at a depth of 6.1 km in the earth's crust.
