Although it has been almost one and a half months since the day the threatening emails were sent to place bombs in three hundred schools in Cyprus, and although the police, through its investigation, ends in an IP address in Russia, the Russian authorities do not respond to the police.

According to police sources, although the Russian authorities have been working together with both the Cypriot police and other European authorities, lately, as they estimate, because of the situation with Ukraine and the support shown by the European Union countries, it seems to have changed its attitude and no disposition.

As a result, the police, despite their constant efforts to communicate with the Russian authorities, however was not achieved, so the authorities were in the unknown. According to the same sources, police are trying to identify the information he is looking for in the case, but the Russian authorities' response is characterized as decisive for the outcome of the case.

However, it is not excluded in this case that in the previous year, a year earlier, when the mark initially showed that the perpetrator of the mission of threatening email to schools was in Russia, and after the Russian authorities' response, the police addressed Switzerland.

Eventually, the case fell into disrepair when the Swiss authorities responded that the emails were not sent from the country of Central Europe and could not identify the point from which the perpetrator's mark was emitted.

The threatening email was sent at 7:00 on the morning of February 11, by email, over 300 schools, in all provinces of Cyprus.

In the email at issue, the sender wrote that "there is a bomb in the school. With the swords high, we will make you run. We claim your life, because Allah's governance is our decree. Hard is the wind whispering in your ear for the death that awaits you. "

The sender continued, saying, "We will sow the terror on your shore, as the brothers did in Sri Lanka. Until we get to our designated star. Our hearts will be burned in the light of Islamic law. We will fill the heavens with fire and pray, the day when the unbelievers pay. We will conquer every European land. Whoever doubts, we will kill him. "

As he said, the blood of the children will drink the sand of the desert. Their screams will rise to heaven. Your world will collapse in our hands. In the end, only Islam will remain. "

As soon as the email was received from the schools, the police activated the Crisis Center for Crisis to the Police Headquarters, under the supervision of the Assistant Crime Prevention and Crime.

At the same time, the protocol of actions was activated in the event of an individual or mass threat, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Sport and Youth.

After school checks were followed and nothing was identified, the students returned to the classrooms, while the Electronic Crime Subdivision requested the assistance of Interpol and Europol, and it was found that similar threatening messages were sent to Hungary and Bosnia.
