On Wednesday, the weather will initially be partly cloudy in most areas, while locally increased cloudiness mainly in the western-southwestern 1/3 of the island may give isolated rains. In the afternoon and afternoon, locally increased clouds will develop in the mountains/semi-mountains and in the interior, and the occurrence of isolated rain/storms is expected, while isolated rain is not excluded in the western/northwestern parts of the island. Winds will initially blow at a variable intensity of 1-2 Beaufort, to gradually turn to southwest to southeast at an intensity of 2-4 Beaufort. The temperature will fluctuate around 2-4 degrees Celsius above the normal levels for the season and will rise to around 24 to 27 degrees Celsius in the interior low-lying parts of the island and on the coasts and around 12 degrees Celsius in Chionistra.

Wednesday 12/11: A partly cloudy and dry start for most with thicker clouds expected over the western – southwestern 1/3 of the island with a few showers possible. Clouds are expected to develop during mid-day and afternoon hours mainly over the mountains and central plain with isolated showers/thunderstorms expected. The risk for the odd shower over western – northwestern parts of the island cannot be ruled out. Winds light and variable in the morning 1-2 Bft will gradually strengthen and shift from northwestern to southwestern directions 3-4 Bft later in the day, with gusts reaching over the southern coasts up to 5 Bft during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures 2-4 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average and ranging from around 24-27°C over the central plain and coastal areas and around 12°C over the highest peaks of Troodos.
