In Germany, the authorities arrested a young man, 22, for planning a terrorist attack in Berlin.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, the arrested person is accused of "preparation of a serious crime, which endangers the state, with Islamic motivation".
Explosives that he had obtained from the internet have been found in his home, as well as evidence indicating that he is a supporter of the "Islamic State".
The young man has been in Germany since 2023, with subsidiary protection status.
