Corruption protests began after the accident at Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1, when 15 people were killed by the collapse of a shelfed roof.
Then the rage overflowed, as protesters saw in this accident the proof of corruption that permeates institutions and public works in Serbia. From week to week, the movement has taken on historical dimensions as the most important protest movement in recent Serbian history.
