Humanitarian aid beyond 50 tonnes is located in the port of Limassol and is intended for the population of Gaza in the near future.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Theodoros Gotsis, humanitarian aid came to Cyprus from the Maltese Order and is intended for the port of Asdod.

He pointed out that yesterday's meeting of Foreign Minister Constantine Kobos and Secretary General Antonio Guterres, there was a focus and deepening of humanitarian aid issues, recalling that December has now been activated "providing funding in the funding of the funding of the funding. , which is basically funded by the United Arab Emirates' and the UN Office for the UNPS for the UNPS.

Along with another aid that is expected to arrive, as Mr Gotsis said, these supplies will depart in the near future, around mid -February for the port of Asdod.

He pointed out that the protocol is strictly respected, and humanitarian aid is scanned in Cyprus in advance and with the arrival in Asdond the supplies are delivered to UNOPS, "the best possible hands," as he said.

It is recalled that so far about 24,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been sent through the maritime corridor from Cyprus.
