In a statement, OKYPY states that he understands the reactions of doctors, while assuring that all necessary measures are taken so that they can handle their work.

In relation to the agency's three -year development program, it says it is over € 175 million and includes the expansion of all TAEPs to all public hospitals, the creation of new units (Neurological Clinic in Nicosia General Nicosia, TAEP, Pediatric Neurological Clinic, Pediatric Neurology. Limassol, creation of a floor for the mother and child in the General Hospital), as well as the renovation/upgrading of other infrastructure. Additional costs of € 114 million are budgeted for the three years and are upgrading and modernizing medical, mechanical and other equipment.
According to OKYPY, "the implementation of the Development Program is one of the main strategic objectives of the Organization, with the aim of modernizing and upgrading its existing hospitals at the level of infrastructure and facilities".
