The Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment announces that from August 2 to 22 August 2025 it is accepting applications for damage from the fire in mountainous Limassol.
According to the announcement, these are applications for reactivation and repair of damage caused by the fire that hit the communities of Agios Ambrosios, Agios Georgios Silikou, Agios Therapon, Alasa, Arsos, Vassa Kiolaiou Mandria, Montagri, Omos, Pachna, Pera Pedi, River, Sounis Zanakia, Sykkou, Sotira, Epson.
It is clarified that this is a loss statement for reactivation by affected people whose pieces are stated in the application for hectares of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization 2025.
It is also concerned with a loss statement for reactivation in the field of sheep and goat. Holders of livestock farms should either participate in the Plan of Link Sheep and goats (head subsidies) of the KOAP, or be active in the Veterinary Services Register.
This is also a loss statement only for reactivation by affected people who have not applied for hectares to KOAP for 2025 and will only concern the registration of irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, agricultural warehouses, etc.).
The documents needed are: Building License, Town Planning Permit, for unlawful installations The examination of legality will be carried out in accordance with the policy and procedure set by the Interior Minister.
Damage declarations for reactivation will take place daily for the period August 2-22 at the offices of the Limassol District Agricultural Office. During the same period there will also be a loss of loss statement for reactivation, in the Community Councils of the affected communities between 7.30am - 2.30pm: Agios Ambrosios, Agios Georgios Syngos, Alasas, Vouniou, Omodes and Pachna. An additional receipt will operate for the same days in the Malia Community (KEO offices).
According to the announcement of the Department of Agriculture, the "Fixed Capital" Damage Form is on the website of the department http://www.moa.gov.cy/da, in the "Plans and Applications" section.
In the event that the beneficiary for force majeure is unable to submit the damage declaration to re -activate within the deadline, it is noted, it may be submitted via a delegate and in exceptional cases through a fax or email. However, in these cases the original damage statement must be submitted as soon as possible to be considered valid.
