The United States Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkov is going to the Gaza Strip today, as the White House announced, to save lives and put an end to the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
Whitkov, along with the US ambassador to Israel, will inspect food distribution sites and talk to pocket residents so that a plan can be implemented for the better delivery of more food.
The American envoy met in Jerusalem yesterday with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but no announcement was made about what was discussed.
At the beginning of the week, Trump took distances from Netanyahu, stating that there is a true famine in Gaza.
