The political office of Edek is meeting today to evaluate the recent government reshuffle and in general the party's relations with the government.
The president of Edek, Nikos Anastasiou, clarified yesterday that there is no question of the party leaving the Government. He noted, however, that Edek people are unhappy with the reshuffle as they expected something better for the party.
Mr. Anastasiou said that he contacted the President of the Republic on Friday and expressed Edek's complaints to him. He added that he would seek to have a one-on-one meeting with him on Monday, after the party's politburo made decisions.
