EAC continues the installation of smart meters

The massive installation of smart meters in all provinces by the Cyprus Electricity Authority (ECA) continues, while the safe replacement of the meter requires an interruption of the supply for a period of time that is not expected to exceed 20 minutes.

In her announcement, she states that from today Thursday and for the whole month of November, smart meters will be installed in Aglantzia, on both sides of Larnakos Avenue, from the height of the University of Cyprus to the height of the Satirical Theater, in Limassol, north of Pentadromou and between Makariou III, Thessaloniki, Gladstonos and Evagoras Christoforou Streets, while in Larnaca to the east of the Antonis Stadium Papadopoulos, between Spyros Kyprianou Avenue and Grigoris Auxentiou Avenue.

The EAC in the province of Famagusta will install smart meters in Paralimni, between Protaras Avenue (Up to the height of the 2nd Primary School of Paralimni), Kapparis Avenue and Yorki Papadopoulou Street, up to the height of the New Famagusta Police Station, on both sides of Kapparis Avenue and on both sides of the Street Yorki Papadopoulou while in Paphos between Hellados, Tassos Papadopoulos, Dimokratia, Eleftherios Venizelos, Nikos Nikolaidis and Charalambos Mouskos and Evagoras Pallikaridis Avenues.

Concluding the announcement, EAC reminds that for the safe replacement of the meter, it is necessary to stop the supply for a period of time that is not expected to exceed 20 minutes and apologizes for any inconvenience.
