On September 1, heavy rains and thunderstorms occurred in some areas of the island. Precipitation was recorded in the villages of Klirou, Afienou and Psimolofou.
On September 2, clear weather is expected across most of the island. It will be cloudy in the mountains and along the west coast. Rain, thunderstorms and hail are possible in the mountains and eastern part of the island. Relatively strong winds, up to force 5, are expected on the southern coast.
The air temperature in inland areas will rise to 34 degrees, on the coast - up to 31 degrees, and in the mountains - up to 23 degrees. The average sea water temperature is 27.8 degrees. At night, temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees inland, 22 degrees on the coast and 13 degrees in the mountains.
Rain and thunderstorms are also expected on September 3, 4 and 5. The temperature will not change significantly.
