Another police member was made available as cases are being investigated by cases of abuse of power and other related offenses.
In a statement, the Police notes that the Police Internal Audit Service (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) is investigating a case against a police member concerning the following offenses:
Abuse of power teaching with representatives indicating corruption of service and disclosure of state secrets and abuse of confidence by public operatives in laws that impose duty on the protection of natural data on the protection of personal data.
The examinations are continued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the police member has been made available following instructions by Mr. Themistos Arnaoutis, Police Chief.
Police leadership once again stresses that fighting corruption is a priority. Police remain committed to its mission by serving society with integrity and respect.
