United States Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said no one was marginalized, referring to Ukrainian and European concerns about the future of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, noting that the solution must be accepted by all sides.
He also expressed the belief that Moscow wishes to get involved in a serious process, as he said, where a timetable and mechanisms would be set to end the war.
Commenting on the position of Sergei Lavrov on the need to lift the financial barriers between Russia and the United States, Marco Rubio appeared skeptical, saying that there are other places involved in the sanctions process.
He stressed that Europe should also be on the negotiating table, as it has also imposed sanctions on Russia.
