President Christodoulidis: By 2028, Cyprus should fully cover its water supply needs

The President of the Republic stated that Cyprus aims to cover 100% of its water supply needs by 2028.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new water reservoir of the Larnaka Provincial Self-Governing Organization, President Christodoulidis expressed his joy at the inauguration of a project of substance and perspective which is of national importance.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the reservoirs are part of the national investment plan for water projects and added that the effective treatment of water scarcity and the rational management of water resources are a matter of utmost importance for the government.
