Paphos police are investigating the sexual harassment of a 9-year-old girl, reports said on Sunday.
According to the Police, a tourist allegedly sexually harassed a 9-year-old girl in the previous days, also a visitor in Paphos.
The incident allegedly took place in a hotel where both were staying. The case is being investigated by a special team of the Sub-Directorate for the Management of Vulnerable Persons’ Cases of the Branch for the Investigation of Offences of Sexual Abuse of Minors of the Police Headquarters.
As part of the investigations, the police have proceeded to take statements while audiovisual material from a closed circuit surveillance system is also being investigated.
