The causes of the helicopter's crash on the Hudson River, New York that led to the death of the pilot and CEO of Siemens along with his wife and their three children, are examined by the researchers.
Augustine Escobar, a Siemens executive, and his wife Merse Cambrubi Montal, from Spain, had closed a helicopter trip to celebrate their eight -year -old's upcoming birthday.

The files show that the helicopter was built in 2004 and had already recorded 12,728 flight hours when it had to be repaired.

What were the victims?

Augustine Escobar passengers, 49, Merse Cambrubi Montal, 39, and their three children, Victor, 4, Mercedes, 8 years old, and Augustine, 10 years old, died during the crash.

Montal worked for Siemens Energy, a separate part of Siemens. Her grandfather was a former president of Barcelona, August Montal.
