A car believed to belong to the perpetrators of a brutal attack on a courier in the early hours of October 29 was found in a car park in Mesa Geitonia in Limassol.
The car was confiscated by the police and transported to the Limassol station for examination. At the same time, the police are checking the details of the vehicle owner.
The attack took place around 2 a.m. on Independence Street, where four young men attacked a 28-year-old courier on a motorcycle who was delivering an order. At a traffic light, a car with suspects stopped next to him, one of whom sprayed an unknown substance in the face of the courier, causing burns to his eyes. The victim parked the motorcycle and approached the attackers with a question about the reason for the aggression. Then four attackers got out of the car and began to brutally beat him.
The incident was witnessed by a security guard at a nearby hotel and passers-by, after which the suspects fled the crime scene in a car. As a result of the attack, a 28-year-old man suffered injuries to his head, pelvis and back and was taken to Limassol Hospital for medical treatment.
