Putin mobilizes reserves to shield refineries

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, gave the green light for sending reserves to protect the country's oil refineries and other energy infrastructure.

The decision comes after continued Ukrainian strikes on such facilities, causing damage and fuel price hikes.

Reservists will be able to undertake guard duties, at the request of the government and with financial compensation.
