The Chandelier is a contemporary Cypriot play that captures the episodic coming together of a typical Cypriot family. One night before the youngest son's wedding, the good little living room for strangers is freshly painted and ready to welcome friends and relatives for the custom of "zomas". The only thing left to do is to set up the DIY chandelier that father bought. Within hours the family is rallying to help, meanwhile power outages known as "Plan Blackout" occur across the country, making the family's venture even more difficult.
