The Neocypriot Association completes 50 years since its establishment

The Neocypriot Association invites you to an event on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its establishment.

The Event will take place at the Press Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. (12 RIK Avenue, Aglantzia – Nicosia).

The 50th anniversary of the Neo-Cypriot Association marks half a century of political, social and cultural action. The Neo-Cypriot Association for 50 years has been a constant advocate of the solution and reunification of the common homeland of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, promoting dialogue, cooperation and mutual respect between the two main communities and at the same time the creation of a common Cypriot identity.

The Program of the Event will include greetings on behalf of the Neo-Cypriot Association by President Thukis Thukydides and Vice-President Şener Elcil, as well as speeches by two important personalities of the country's political life: Mr. Mustafa Akintzi, former leader of the Turkish Cypriot Community, and Mr. Michalis Papapetrou, former MP and government representative.

With the completion of fifty years of continuous presence and contribution, the New Cypriot Association renews its commitment to continue supporting the vision for a united, just and peaceful Cyprus, where all its citizens will be able to coexist with mutual respect and a common vision for the future.

The event will be open to the public, held in English, and followed by a reception.
