Limassol is preparing for a large -scale sporting event.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, hundreds of cyclists of all ages will take part in the traditional bicycle trunk of Limassol, which has already become one of the largest sports events of the city. The participants are waiting for an unforgettable 10-kilometer highway along the city streets and along the coast.
The start will be given at 9:00 a.m. from the parking lot with Enaerios, and from 08:30 to 10:30 the atmosphere of the holiday will complement a living musical show, creating a bright mood and charging with the energy of all guests.
Not only professional teams and sports clubs, but also outdoor enthusiasts can take part in the race. The organizers emphasize that the purpose of the event is to give participants an unforgettable experience, as well as draw attention to the bicycle as an environmentally friendly and modern means of movement in the city.
Traditionally, the event supports the NextBike service, providing free bicycles to those who do not have their own. To do this, it is enough for the participants to install a mobile application and using the LMOBWeeK24 code to take a bicycle at any station in Limassol with the right to use up to 180 minutes.
The bike racket is free and open to everyone. The only prerequisite is the presence of a protective helmet for each cyclist.
The event takes place as part of the sports calendar with the support of the Limassol municipality and the local bicycle team.
