We continue to publish the results of the 2021 census. This is the third part of the report, which shows the level of education and the age and gender pyramid. It is illustrated with infographics.
27.6% of the population over 15 years of age have higher education. The proportion of women is slightly higher (28.1%) than men (27.1%).

Since 2021, the population of Cyprus has become aging, like many EU countries. The share of children under 15 years old was 15.4% of the population, and the share of elderly (over 65 years old) was 17.2% and for the first time exceeded the number of youth.
