On Friday, January 31, the local authorities were shocked by an incident that occurred on one of the central streets of Karavas in Northern Cyprus.

Turkish-Kipriot named Lapitos was seen confused in the middle of the road near his car.

Mayor Mirta Firat Ataser, who witnessed this scene, published a photograph of the incident on Facebook. The picture shows how a BMW white car with a “child on board” sticker stands with an open door, and a man squatting next to him, with trousers lowered to the ankles. On the ground under it, apparently, there was something resembling fecal deposition.

Ataser condemned the actions of Lapitos, calling him “shameless” and expressed bewilderment about what happened: “I could not even choose words”! He also stated that he instructed the local authorities to do everything necessary to prevent such incidents in the future.

Locals expressed their concern about what happened, emphasizing that this behavior is unacceptable and negatively affects the image of the city. Currently, the authorities are investigating and considering possible punishment measures for the offender.
