Police used pepper spray at the AEK-Anorthosis match in Larnaca

On Sunday, January 4, Anorthosis fans from Famagusta got into an argument with a stadium steward during their team's match against Aek Larnaca.

As a result, the police were forced to intervene in the showdown and used pepper spray, but two police officers still received minor injuries to their hands.

No arrests have been made in this incident. An investigation is underway to establish the identities of those involved using the stadium's CCTV system.

The match took place at the Aek Stadium in Larnaca, with the home team defeating Anorthosis with a score of 4:0.
