A Ukrainian citizen drowned in Cyprus

At 15:43 on Thursday, 29 August, the Cyprus Rescue Coordination Center (KSED) received information about a missing person in the area of ​​Agios Georgios Peyia. Witnesses saw him walk along a rocky reef, fall into the sea, float for several minutes and then disappear from sight.

During the search and rescue operation, a 31-year-old man was found without signs of life. Doctors at Paphos Central Hospital were forced to declare his death. According to the Cyprus Times, the deceased is a citizen of Ukraine who permanently resided in Paphos.
