On Saturday, March 15, throughout the Cyprus there were protests by hunters who required improving the conditions for their activities.
Participants in the shares have advocated expanding the zones for training hunting dogs, protecting hunters from activists' intervention, monitoring the construction of solar farms in rural areas and tightening measures against poachers.
As a sign of disagreement, protesters temporarily blocked transport nodes, including the denouement of Troodos and the denouement of riselia near Aradipp in the Larnaki area. The statement published by the organizers states that the current management system has led to a decrease in the number of game.
The hunters were joined by fishermen who called on the authorities to allocate a special zone for fishing in the area of the villages of Marie and Zigi (Larnaka).
Protesters warned that if their requirements are not satisfied, they are ready for more decisive action.
