The Ministry of Health of Cyprus announced the recall of the Mozarell cheese party from the local market. The decision was made on the basis of the appropriate notification from the European quick response system on the quality of food and feed products (RASFF).
The reason was the consumer’s complaint in Italy: in the packaging of Mozarella an extraneous object was discovered - a metal wire. The manufacturer, in order to eliminate the risks of customer health, voluntarily initiated the product’s feedback.
Mozarella Lat Bri in a package of 125 g, a party with N5205D number and the date of the minimum storage period until August 22, 2025 fell under the removal. The authorities strongly recommend not to use this product. If you have such a package in your hands, it must be returned to the store where it was purchased.
The Ministry of Health of Cyprus recalls: even in case of rare cases of detection of foreign objects, such measures are taken to maximize the health of the population.
