An alert was sounded at London's Heathrow Airport after reports of an incident with injuries.
The Metropolitan Police announced that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack on a number of people.
Police were called shortly after 08:00 to a multi-storey car park in Terminal 3 following reports of an assault on several people.
Several people were reportedly sprayed with some form of pepper spray by a group of men, who then left the scene.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of assault and inquiries are continuing to identify further suspects.
The attack injured people who were taken to the hospital, but their lives were not threatened.
Traffic has been disrupted in the area, while Terminal 3 remains open.
The Police Commander clarified that this is not a terrorist attack.
