The client defeated the Limassol Social Service Office and attacked an employee

On Monday, August 18, an incident occurred in the Social Service Office in Germasoya.

The man arranged a pogrom and even attacked an employee. The case caused a resonance and prompted the All -Chipper Union of Isotit to demand an immediate strengthening of security measures, threatening with a strike.

According to the trade union, the man threw objects towards the registration rack, trying to break the protective glass. One of the employees was at first undergoing verbal insults, which then went on assault.

The guard attended did not take any action, and the police arrived only after 30 minutes.

The All -Chicken Trade Union "Isotita" (Council of the Department of Social Services) expressed serious concern to the lack of reliable security measures in the offices of the social service.

“The number of cases of violence against workers is growing, and the security remains formal, not real. Private guards do not have crisis management skills. The lack of clear protocols of interaction with the police leads to dangerous delays and leaves employees in conditions of fear? When they can only rely on themselves, ”the trade union said.

The organization emphasizes: if measures are not taken immediately, the trade union is ready to resort to strict actions, including a strike.
