Strong presence of the Cyprus Theater Organization at World Stage Design 2025

It is with great honor that the Cyprus Theater Organization (THOK) announces the participation of Marina Officer Maleni Kyriazis in the international event World Stage Design 2025, which took place in Sarzia, United Arab Emirates, from 18 to 25 October 2025.

Marina Maleni Kyriazi, as a member of the Advisory Board of the organization, had an active role in the formation of the artistic and theoretical program, contributing to the development of its thematic exhibition "Tomorrow's Heritage" (The Heritage of Tomorrow) - a proposal that connects the theatrical tradition with modern innovation and sustainability in the performing arts.

World Stage Design is the most important international event organized by ОISTAT, the International Organization of Stage Designers, Architects and Theater Technicians. It covers scenography, lighting, sound and stage technology, and gathers every four years the leading professionals and academics in the field from around the world. More than 100 artists and designers participated in this year's event, through exhibitions, presentations, workshops and competitions of theatrical architecture and technical inventions.

The presence of the Cyprus Theater Organization in Sarzia is an important milestone for the strengthening of the international presence of Cyprus in the performing arts and highlights THOK as a body of cultural diplomacy and innovation. The participation of Marina Maleni Kyriazi, who is also an honorary member of the Cyprus Center of Set Designers, Architects and Theater Technicians, in the World Stage Design Advisory Council confirms the recognition of the Organization's prestige and experience at a global level.

THOK remains committed to supporting international collaborations and creative exchange that promote the development of theater in Cyprus and internationally.
