The American destroyer USS Oscar Austin arrived at the port of Larnaki. Prices for building materials in Cyprus continue to rise. The Core Coral Cold Front is approaching Cyprus: a sharp cooling and snowfalls are expected from Thursday.

-The Cyprus Court of Appeal ruled that the cadastral service does not bear the legal obligation to inform the buyer or its representative about the existence of previously registered contracts of sale when submitting a new one. This decision confirms that not a single law or article of the Constitution imposes such an obligation to the cadastral service. The case arose after the claim of a citizen who claimed that when applying for registration of a contract of purchase/sale of an apartment, the cadastral service did not notify him of the previously entered register for the same real estate. The court of first instance rejected the lawsuit, indicating that there was no legislative situation obliging the cadastral service to provide such information. The decision was supported by the court of appeal.

The police warn that these messages are fake, and calls for citizens not to respond, use two-factor authentication for all online accounts and never transferred passwords to third parties.

- The American destroyer USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) again arrived at Cyprus, this time in the port of Larnaki. US Ambassador Julie Davis noted that the ship is equipped with ballistic missiles and intended for anti -submarine and surface warfare, continuing its security mission in the Mediterranean and beyond.

- according to the statistical service of Cyprus, the building materials price index reached 117.60 points in January (Basis 2021 = 100), which is 0.57% higher compared to the previous month and 0.50% more than in early 2024 years.
