EDEK is satisfied with the meeting with the President of the Republic

The President of EDEK, Nikos Anastasiou, declared satisfied that he was leaving the meeting he had with the President of the Republic.

As he said, there was a discussion on how to improve the communication of the President of the Republic

with EDEK which is a co-governing party.

He added that they talked about the restructuring and repeated that the number of ministers coming from EDEK is not important, but how good the cooperation is with the Ministers of the Government.

He also said that the issue of EDEK leaving the government was never raised, adding that there are some voices within the party who consider that participation in the Government has a cost.
