Bright object in the sky above Cyprus

The mysterious burning object in the sky caused a number of versions and hypotheses. Astronomers suggested that it was a meteor, but another version appeared. Perhaps residents have witnessed a rare optical effect.

On the evening of March 13, an unidentified burning object was noticed in the sky over Kiprom. The Cyprus astronomical organization suggested that it could be a meteor.

The subject was noticed at about 18.00. It was possible to photograph and shoot several residents of the island on the video. The body left a bright mark before it disappeared.

The Cyprus astronomical organization called on everyone who managed to take photographs or shoot video, share their materials. This will help establish the nature of the object and its complete trajectory.

On the morning of March 14, several media cited the version of the Chairman of the Cyprus Organization of Space Research by Yorgos Danos. We are talking about the plane that followed in Greece. According to the researcher, due to the reflection of sunlight, it seemed to observers that the object was on and falling to the ground. But in fact, it could be an optical deception.
