The Huang Rong cargo ship, which walks under the Cyprus flag, was ruled by the Marina-Di-Mass coast in the Italian Tuscan. Due to the powerful storm, the ship, which was anchored, broke it off and nailed to the shore, as a result of which its feed hit the pier. According to preliminary data, the spill of fuel in the sea was avoided.
There were 12 crew members on board, most of which were Ukrainian sailors. The coast guard quickly organized a rescue operation, using the helicopter, and safely evacuated the entire crew ashore.
Currently, experts are conducting a detailed examination of the vessel to assess damage. The authorities consider possible options for safe guang rong towing, the final decision will be made in the coming days.
