Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis described the continuation of the dialogue with Turkey as denying information about a formal or informal suspension.
In an interview with the newspaper "Parapolitika" he noted that regardless of the fact that there has not yet been a common ground to start the debate on the demarcation of the continental shelf and the EEZ, the dialogue will continue as set out in the December Declaration in December 20.
Mr. Gerapetritis even added that the structured Greek -Turkish dialogue has produced tangible and measurable results, noting, inter alia, the re -launch of the debate on the Cyprus issue under the auspices of the United Nations Secretary -General, that there are no more massive infringements.
Referring to the National Marine Spatial Planning, he said that it was known that Greece had to send it to the European Commission and stressed that it was not linked to the Greece-Cyprus electric interconnection, neither functional nor time.
The electrical interconnection project, the Greek Foreign Minister concluded, requires multiple synergies with the contractor, the relevant ministries and bodies and will continue at the right time.
