An annual reduction of 13.1% was noted in April the number of unemployed

The number of unemployed was decreased by 13.1% in April. 

According to the Statistical Service, based on the data kept at the provincial offices, the number of registered unemployed at the end of April 2025 reached 8,118. 

Based on the data corrected for seasonal fluctuations, which show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed in April 2025 decreased to 9,655 people compared to 10,035 last month.

Compared to April 2024, there was a reduction of 1,225 people or 13.1% mainly attributed to the fields of financial and insurance activities, construction, trade, accommodation and catering services, as well as a decrease in newcomers in the labor market.
