The authorities of the United Arab Emirates refused to enter the Turkish businessman Ahmed Nayan, the owner of one of the largest construction companies operating in the occupied territories of Cyprus.
The head of Noyanlar was on the list of persons who are prohibited from entering the UAE. The basis for such a decision was its actions related to the illegal construction and sale of real estate, built on lands belonging to the Greco-Quiro owners in the area of the occupied Trikomo.
Noyanlar is actively engaged in the construction of residential complexes and tourism real estate objects, which repeatedly caused conviction from the Republic of Cyprus and the international community.
The publication recalls that in 2023 the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus began the legal persecution of persons participating in the illegal operation of the Greek-Quiric property in the northern part of the island. One of the first to arrest the Turkish-Kipr lawyer Akan Countess, who was accused of promoting such transactions.
The ban on entering Dubai can be a precedent that signals the readiness of other countries to follow the example of Cyprus and increase pressure on businessmen involved in the illegal operation of the occupied territories.
