In the new academic 2025-2026, Gymnasium celebrates its five-year period in Cyprus. Our philosophy sounds simple: children are new adults. This is not a slogan, this is a conscious concept. We believe that in the modern world growing up earlier. Today's children are faced with a choice, challenges and the need to make decisions already in elementary school. They live in a world that requires awareness and responsibility, and Gymnasium does everything to help them become ready for this world.
More than sport

Each of the mentors consciously chose this profession, because for them this is not a job, but a vocation. They are parents, multiple winners of international competitions and experienced teachers who can speak the same language with children.
At Gymnasium, we are not just learning - we learn ourselves. Our mentors undergo regular advanced training: this is important not only for professional growth, but also as a living example for children. We show that development is a path that does not end. It also allows us to keep abreast of modern pedagogical and sports approaches, including global trends in children's sports and mental development.
We are sure: a mentor is not the one who realizes his sports ambitions through a child. This is a person who helps the child prove himself in sports, in communication, in life. Respect, empathy and attention to the personality of everyone - this is the basis of the Gymnasium approach.
Fourth round - education through reflection
Each training in Gymnasium ends with a special stage - the “fourth round”. This is not physical activity, but time for internal work. The child, along with the mentor, discusses what happened, what caused difficulties, what emotions he experienced and what conclusions he made. This forms an important adult habit - to comprehend experience, talk about yourself and hear others.
So we teach not just to win the tatami, but to win in life - every day.
