A British tourist who tried to dive into a swimming pool and ended up on the ground is in intensive care

A 56-year-old man who tried to dive into a swimming pool and ended up on the ground is in intensive care. 

He was admitted in a serious condition to Paphos General Hospital after falling three meters onto the pavement next to the swimming pool at a mansion in Peyia.

According to a representative of the Communications Department of the Police Headquarters, information about the injured English tourist was received on Thursday at 20:45. 

Upon further investigation, police learned that a 56-year-old man allegedly walked onto the terrace of the mansion at a height of three meters and attempted to jump into the swimming pool. According to police, the 56-year-old man apparently slipped and fell near the swimming pool. The 56-year-old man was transferred to the emergency department of Paphos General Hospital. He was then admitted to the intensive care unit of Paphos General Hospital where he is receiving treatment. The attending doctors assess his health condition as serious. Source: alphanews.live
