There should be sufficient preparation, with proposals and initiatives, that will create positive developments in the Cyprus issue in view of the imminent descent of Rosemary Di Carlo, as well as of the informal five-party, said the president of DISI, Annita Dimitriou.
He made the reports after the end of the meeting of the Cyprus Group of the party.
Mrs. Dimitriou emphasized that the Democratic Alert will continue to support every effort to break the prolonged deadlock, with substantial proposals that will strengthen the Greek Cypriot side.
He emphasized that Disy is not against the opening of new crossing points, clarifying at the same time that such a thing cannot be done unilaterally and that there should be a response from the Turkish Cypriot side as well.
