On the morning of Sunday, July 13, the body of a 73-year-old man was found by residents of the village of Timi in a ditch by the side of the road leading from Timi to the Paphos airport.
Judicial experts of Orthodox Orthodox and Angelica Papetta, who recorded gunshot wounds in the back and buttocks, were characteristic of a shot from a shotgun.
Later, a 78-year-old resident of the village of Timi admitted to the murder of his 73-year-old neighbor, Aristides of Saptanis. According to the police, the suspect during the interrogation gave a confession and indicated the place where he hid the hunting rifle, from which he fired. According to preliminary data, the cause of the crime was personal and family disagreements between men. The suspect was charged with deliberate murder, illegal storage and transportation of firearms, as well as storage of explosives.
