Two people were trapped on the balcony of an apartment located on the fourth floor of an apartment building in Limassol after a fire broke out in the apartment.
As mentioned in his post on platform X, the press representative of the fire service, Andreas Kettis, the people in question were rescued by members of the fire service with a telescopic boom truck and were taken by ambulance to the Limassol hospital.
As Mr. Kettis mentions in his post, the apartment is currently being extinguished and ventilated.
The fire department says three fire engines responded and members of the force entered the apartment using breathing apparatus and water hose installations.
